Moon Above a Gambrel Roof

I took the time to notice the moon the other night.

When I first noticed it, the sky below it was pink and red, but by the time I got my camera, the colors were gone.

This is a house that looks like a barn off in the distance.

I could fit a lot of horses in there.

Nice pictures, it would have been really different with the colors. Don't you hate when that happens, by the time we get a camera the shot is gone. Guess we should walk around with a camera in our pockets or strapped around our necks.

There's nothing like a full moon to remind us that we're all staring up from our own spot in the world, looking at it together, and we're all connected. Thanks for the beautiful photos.

I always wanted to live in a house that had my barn in it. Like my house on one side and the barn on the other. There is a lady in town that has a beautful barn that she lives in. It has a stone front and it's beautiful!! I love your moon shots. The sky is a pretty purpley blue!

Nice photos! Our house actually was a barn over a hundred years old! I often think I could fit a lot of horses in here, but then Steve and I would be out in the three sided run-in, LOL

With those moon shots you could have participated in the Sunday Stills Challenge and fit right in.

Funny how we horse folks look at buildings and gauge how many horses we can fit. LOL

Oooh! I'd love to share a barn with horses. That's an odd house. If you hadn't of said it was a house, I'd have though it was a shed. lol!

Lovely moon photo. Moon photos can be very challenging. You captured the moon perfectly.
I especially like the background snow-covered mountains, too.

Have you gotten any more snow recently?
