PACE

We have these giant letters that spell out PEACE to hang stockings from, however we recently acquired a new answering machine that takes up more space than our old one. We didn't want to relocate it, so my daughter decided to leave the E out of PEACE. Now I use it as a reminder to PACE myself, slow down and take it easy as a Christmas gift to myself.

The 5th letter was used to hang a stocking for the dogs, but since they are getting new dog bowls this year, their gifts won't fit in the stocking anyway. Shhhhhhhhh. Don't tell them.

Great idea at this time of year. We should all PACE ourselves so we can enjoy the holidays.

Also pace yourself to be sure you get over being sick.

If I see your dogs I promise not to say a word.

Hahahaha kids always have the simplest answers that make so much sense. Usually they make me shake my head and ask why didn't I think of that???

Very clever girl, your daughter. And I was thinking it meant a horse's pace. hehe!

Perhaps a reminder to pace yourself at those lovely holiday feasts, too? ;o) Or at unwrapping gifts -- I always go too fast, and then it's all over! LOL

Lytha - That's right. My husband is half Sicilian, so he mentioned that PACE is PEACE in Italian.

Pace is Latin for peace, so you can still consider it a Christmas decoration!
