Scratching with Gabbrielle




It's so funny the way she purses her upper lip. It's as if she twitched it herself to get those endorphins flowing...

I love that expression! I've seen other horses make the same face when they get a good scratch going. I wish Panama did that! ;o)

She does look happy - and she's so pretty! A good scratch is appreciated by all - provided she doesn't take the fence down!

She sure is enjoying that! Reminds me of my Arab that I had when I was a teenager. She LOVED to scratch on everything too. She would even "stop-drop-and roll" in the show ring when the mood struck

Turned out to be a skin condition. Vet told us a simple remedy - White Cider Vinegar rinse when we could bath her.
