There is a logical explanation... the man remodels bathrooms and kitchens for a living. But what astounds me is that he's too cheap to buy people NEW toilets, showers, bathtubs, ovens, washing machines and dryers. He haunts garage sales and drags the junk home every weekend. If these items were new, they'd be in a box. I just don't know how they couldn't feel embarrassed driving down the road with a porcelain throne strapped to their back bumper. It must have been entertaining for other drivers. I suspect many of these are impulse buys, because he has plenty of trailers he could load these items into, but somehow he always returns home Sunday night with some large appliance or piece of furniture strapped to the bumper or roof of his truck.
What do you think? Should I traipse over there and break it in for them?
