A Mother's Day Thank You

For Mother's Day my daughter sent this to me through the mail...

Can you tell what it is?

It's a camera strap cover. Pretty purple on one side and fuzzy, cushy soft on the other side...

Then my son returned home from his track meet carrying these colorful flowers for me...

And a scrumptious chocolate bar...

Thanks kids! You're the best offspring a gal could hope for.  Love you.

i brought a bunch of hersheys bars (regular and with almonds) back to germany this time because i wanted to share them with people who survived ww2. that would be my opa here and some church ladies. i knew that the american soldiers gave out hersheys chocolate (and gum) to the germans. although german chocolate is better in general, i told these old folks specifically (and in writing cuz their hearing isn't so great) - "this is *historical* chocolate."

recently someone said "you brough HERSHEYS into germany? what's wrong with you?"

i'm just touched by history, that's all.

Fabulous kids! Just like mine! Ironically....guess what I'm munching right now?

The Symphony bar that my own dear kids and hubby gave me for Mother's Day!

Is this your favorite chocolate treat, too? Something else we have in common, it seems :)

I was given roses and a folding chaise lounge for my balcony, too. That's a pretty camera strap. It's so nice to be appreciated and loved by our families :)

Happy Belated Mother's Day to you. I'm sorry I've not been around. My family took me camping and letterboxing the past few days, so I've been out of the loop.

Lisa - How funny! This was actually the first time I've tasted a Symphony bar. Delicious.

Oooh they are dangerously delicious.

It amazes me how big they are, yet how quickly they disappear.

I should hide them from MYSELF! lol!

Enjoy!
