Sunday Stills: Looking High, Looking Low

For this challenge I just used my lightweight point-and-shoot Canon. I didn't really want to have to lay down on the ground or risk having my good Nikon DSLR kicked or dropped from a ladder. I didn't even look through the lens, and the results were fun and interesting.

Looking high...

Looking low...

Neat perspective.
I like the one under Gabbrielle's belly looking at Lostine best.

I wish I had thought of those horse shots! Terrific!

Unique viewpoints sure make these photos interesting! I like the combination of lines that the horses bodies form.

The shot of the mane is awesome. And I love the ladder - clever!

I love those shots and I had to pick a favorite - the second one. Really nice.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting about my kitchen knobs. You raise some good points. I have a habit of moving swiftly by a cabinet and getting the edge of my shorts caught on the knob. Maybe I don't like choice # 2... it does have 'sharp' edges!

Not your typical horse view, clever! They turned out well, I like the second shot best.

I love that about point and shoots. I will sometimes just stick my camera down or up somewhere where I can't look at the viewfinder screen and just click away. You're right. The results are often very interesting.

I really like that down low photo across the ladder. It's just visually interesting.

I also really like that second looking up photo, too.

Wow those are some amazing shots!! I really wish I'd participated in this challenge, but things were just so hectic and I haven't been feeling well that I let his slip by. I loved seeing your pictures though. Awesome!
