Pups on the Prowl
These are the guys I photographed for my latest rescue animal studio session. The little Chi X gal I've been babbling about has been adopted. Now my husband can rest in knowing I won't be bringing her home. I suspect Scrappy is relieved as well.
I love that first photo. Was that dog as much of a ham as he looks like in the photo? Such personality -- surely a picture like that will get him adopted in no time!
Katharine - They were all total hams. It's amazing how the dogs are one way in the shelter, and then as soon as you get them out into a home setting and give them your undivided attention, they just do whatever you ask of them. My assistant figured out how to get the guy at the top to tilt his head from side to side. It was adorable.
Lisa - Thanks. The majority of the pets I photographed last week have been adopted already. The group is trying to figure out if it was a coincidence or if they saw my photos.
I bet these get adopted ASAP too. Great photos! You should feel proud to have played a part in getting those dogs into homes. Kudos to the assistant, too.
Wow you sure do have a talent when it comes to phottographing dogs! I sure love them, tey are soo adoptable!! Im sure some got adopted cause of your photos, who could not want them??
If these dogs get snapped up right after the photo shoot, then maybe you are on to something. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
The dogs are probably so willing to do whatver you want in hopes they have finally been sprung from the shelter. "If I'm really good, maybe I will get to stay here!"

Wow! These are incredible. It's the expressions of the dogs that are mesmerizing. Nicely done! You just keep getting better and better!
